Found this whilst browsing WSJ.com - list of the top paid CEO's of public companies in the US
$EXPE, $WBD, $NOW, $AAPL, $JPM, $PENN, $AVGO, $FLT, $BKNG, $CHTR, $NFLX, $ETSY, $GS, $CNP
I also found the column 'Median Employee Pay' quite interesting. Those are some pretty lofty numbers! That's median folks, not executives or directors etc...Just your standard employees getting over $200k a year. I'd imagine the figure also includes stock options, but I could be wrong.
It's worth noting that the 'cash pay' column is important to the overall total pay. You definitely want your CEO's incentivised to act in the best interests of all shareholders, and an pay package that is more weighted towards stock options is usually preferable over the long term. But it's still important to ensure the overall package is competitive.
