Tesla China Shipments for May - Here's the predictions
China Passenger Car Association is due to report the May shipment numbers for Tesla $TSLA from their Shanghai plant.
You may have missed it in the chart below, but that last line are the actual results for April...I think it's safe to assume that the May results will be higher than April since it was about mid-month that Tesla started producing cars again thanks to a closed-loop environment which saw workers isolated and living at the plan.
My guess is that shipments will be about 30,000 units considering that part suppliers in the area would have also been impacted by Covid restrictions.
Full quarterly results for Shanghai, Fremont, Germany and Texas will be announced in early July.
